There was a little boy from La Rochelle, who started to play the piano at the age of 3.
Frederic La Verde was born on the 2nd of June 1976 in Aix en Provence. His earliest lessons are with Paul Vidal.
At 16, he receives a gold medal and other prestigious prizes from the Conservatoire de Clermond-Ferrand under the guidance of
Jean-Marie Besnard.
He then joins the 7th Art Orchestra directed by Claude Giot on a tour of Europe playing the most beautiful film music at the festivals
of Cannes, Anvers and Deauville.
In 1997, he takes part in a performance of "La Suite des Parapluies de Cherbourg" with the Auvergne and the 7th Art Orchestra, under the
baton of Michel Legrand.
The destiny of the 21 year old is now cemented. He decides to dedicate himself to film music.
In 1998, at Beziers , he is the main pianist in the musical comedy "Le Monde de Jacques Brel" produced by Madly Bamy, also known as Jean-Claude Vallat partner.
During this period Frederic LA VERDE fltres his knowledge of classical music tofilm scores.
A year later, at the age of 23, Rene Coll introduces him to many French celebrities, and his exclusiveness to the 7th Art is established.
Disneyland calls, and the pianist is now playing two major hotels at the resort.
He becomes artistic director for Phil Barney, Gordon Henderson, and Jacques de Kera, whilst continuing his theory at the American School of modern music.
This period develops into a combination of traditional music and modern technic with the MAO system: virtual orchestration using modern scores.
In 2005, Frederic La Verde decides on a whim to go to Los Angeles: such is the nature of his curious and hungry spirit.
The American input confirms his love of the film music industry.
In 2006, Frederic moves to London, regaling audiences at private functions and on cruise ships.
His students maybe 3 years old or older; his inspiration based on self motivation is second to none due to his unique style.
During this upbeat period Frederic La Verde composes a collection of works for piano and orchestra, including "La Valse du Monde".
This is the piece chosen to be played and filmed at Fort Louvois on the Atlantic.
A Steinway is transported on to the Fort in Charente-Maritime and at 17 hours under a clear, blue sky, Oleron production captures fabulous overhead shots of the pianist who in turn becomes an overnight success on YouTube..
In September of 2010, Frederic is invited to play Chopin. He is due to play to 4000 people in the port of La Rochelle floating on the sea.
Supported in his extravaganza by his piano Pleyel, the tall ship Belem, France 1, Operon and a myriad of sailing boats ready to take to the sea.
All these adventures may be viewed on his website.
In 2011, Frederic is invited to play solo at the piano festival of Lille by Jean-Claude Casadessus.
All that summer, he performs one concert after another in extraordinary locations, be it a parc or a beach, a church, or a chateau, he continues to mesmerize his audiences everywhere.
Frederic has to date published 28 titles of soundtrack music on Thierry Richard most recent film "St Denis d'Oleron et La Bree-Les Bains d'Hier et d'Aujourd'hui".
At last, on the 8th September, Frederic returns to London and captivates audiences this time at the top of the BT Tower, then at the London Eye under the backdrop of Big Ben and Westminster. Welcome Home.
