In 2008, Frederic La Verde returns to France with a new ambition: to get closer to his audience in order to gain inspiration
for his compositions.
A chance meeting with Gerard Fauvin at the Domaine of Petignac (Bordeaux) enables him to fulfil a dream.
Gerard creates a mobile platform fashioned around a piano. Frederic's father, Carmelo La Verde then customises the whole thing by adding clear Perspex to the piano, lights and painting it pillar-box red! This enables Frederic to play in the most extraordinary places.
The results are very positive. Everyone is surprised, enchanted even to be able to enjoy their favourite film themes and classics in such wonderous locations.
A new adventure begins on l'Ile de Ré, then Ile d'Oléron, and La Rochelle.
He is acclaimed for his music, not only by the audiences but also by the agents and talent spotters. Frederic is consequently
invited to play at private and public functions, festivals and even a recital on water. His technique and compositions are now
reaching new heights.
His creativity and touch are assuming a new sensitivity.
